The absence of a local gardening club, catering for all aspects of the hobby has been an issue for a number of years. Many people these days are busy...work and family always taking first place above all else. It's not that people don't like the idea of a club, but they do not have the time to devote to meetings and the organisation that comes with joining a club. Now that most of us have access to the internet, the idea of a club becomes a viable proposition.
